Meet Jon Hamm, a talented American actor who has made a name for himself primarily in television! Born on March 10, 1971, Hamm spent much of the mid-90s in Los Angeles trying to make it as an actor. He landed small roles in various TV series, such as Providence, The Division, What About Brian, and Related.
Hamm's big-screen debut came in 2000 when he appeared in Clint Eastwood's space adventure, Space Cowboys. The following year, he had a minor role in the independent comedy Kissing Jessica Stein (2001).
However, Hamm's breakthrough role came in 2007 when he was cast as advertising executive Don Draper in the critically acclaimed AMC drama series Mad Men. His outstanding performance earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series in 2008.
