Ben Affleck
Batman / Bruce Wayne
Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman/Bruce Wayne in 'Justice League' is a solid, if somewhat subdued, performance. He brings a brooding intensity to the role, capturing the weight of the character's past tragedies and his determination to protect Gotham City. His chemistry with the other members of the Justice League is palpable, particularly with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, and he delivers his lines with a gruff, no-nonsense authority. However, some fans may find his interpretation of the character a bit too stoic and lacking the nuance and complexity that other actors have brought to the role. Overall, while Affleck's Batman may not be the most memorable, it is a competent and fitting addition to the DC cinematic universe.
Henry Cavill
Superman / Clark Kent / Kal-El
Henry Cavill's portrayal of Superman in 'Justice League' is a commendable blend of strength and vulnerability. His physicality perfectly captures the superhuman abilities of the character, while his nuanced performance as Clark Kent adds depth and relatability. Cavill's ability to switch between the confident and powerful Superman and the more reserved and humble Kent is a testament to his acting skills. His performance serves as a strong anchor in the ensemble cast, contributing significantly to the overall dynamic of the film.
