In the year 2035, the world is a vastly different place from what we know today. Robots are an integral part of society, performing tasks that range from menial chores to highly specialized jobs. These robots operate under the three laws of robotics, ensuring their behavior is always in the best interest of humans. However, our protagonist, Del Spooner, played by the charismatic Will Smith, is not convinced.
Del Spooner, a Chicago police detective, is a man out of time. He is a technophobe in a world that has fully embraced technology, especially robots. His skepticism is not without reason. When he investigates what appears to be a simple suicide case, he begins to suspect that a robot may be involved. This suspicion sets him on a path that will challenge his beliefs and test his resolve.
As Del delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a conspiracy that could put humanity at risk. His investigation leads him to Dr. Susan Calvin, played by Bridget Moynahan, a specialist in robot psychology at U.S. Robotics. Together, they must navigate a web of intrigue and danger to uncover the truth. The stakes are high, and the clock is ticking.
