Work Hard for a Miracle

Chen Dali, a hardworking taxi driver, struggles daily to make ends meet. His casual habit of gambling has led him into debt, complicating his already challenging life. When a minor rear-end collision occurs, Dali, lacking cash, impulsively lends his identity card to Xiaobai, a charismatic female news anchor, setting off a series of unexpected events. This momentary decision pulls him into a world much more dangerous and complex than he anticipated.

Xiaobai soon becomes the target of a sinister plot when she's kidnapped by Ermao, an obsessed fan demanding the return of all the gifts she had received as rewards for her popularity. At the same time, Dali urgently needs to return to his hometown to borrow money and settle his gambling debts. When he tries to recover his ID card from Xiaobai, he quickly realizes that she is in grave danger, prompting him to take immediate action. Alongside Jia Zhengyi, a security guard with aspirations of joining the police force, Dali resolves to uncover the truth and rescue Xiaobai.

The two embark on a tense and emotional journey, facing numerous obstacles and unraveling the twisted motives behind the kidnapping. Their determination leads them to the kidnapper's hiding place, where they bravely confront and subdue the criminal, ensuring justice is served. Throughout this harrowing experience, Dali and Xiaobai develop a deep bond, forging a new relationship that hints at a promising future together as they overcome adversity hand in hand.
