"Wolf Girl" follows the story of Tara Talbot, a young girl grappling with hypertrichosis, a rare genetic condition that causes excessive hair growth all over her body. Because of her unusual appearance, Tara has spent much of her life as a sideshow attraction, known to audiences as the "Terrifying Wolf Girl." Yet beneath the thick coat of hair and the spectacle she represents, Tara is a vulnerable teenager yearning for acceptance and a normal life.

Set against the backdrop of Harley Dune's Travelling Freak Show, where Tara performs under the watchful eye of Harley Dune himself, portrayed by the charismatic Tim Curry, the series explores themes of identity, belonging, and the human desire for connection.
