'Wild Child' follows Poppy Moore, a spoiled sixteen-year-old with unlimited credit cards who’s accustomed to getting her way. After one too many thoughtless pranks, her frustrated father sends her to a strict boarding school in England to learn responsibility. At the school, Poppy faces a stern headmistress and a group of girls who challenge her selfish behavior, pushing her toward growth and self-discovery. Trivia: 1) Emma Roberts, who plays Poppy, was actually homesick during filming and missed her family while shooting in the UK. 2) The boarding school scenes were filmed at Downe House School in England, which was unaccustomed to film productions, making the shoot a unique experience for the staff and students. 3) Alex Pettyfer, cast as Freddie Kingsley, was relatively new to acting at the time, and 'Wild Child' helped launch his career with a wider audience.
