The World of Kanako

"The World of Kanako" follows Akikazu Fujishima, played by Koji Yakusho, a violent former policeman whose world is turned upside down when his daughter Kanako, portrayed by Nana Komatsu, disappears. Initially believing Kanako to be the perfect model daughter and brilliant student, Akikazu's search reveals dark and disturbing secrets about her life, challenging his idealized image of his child.
