The Time Machine

The Time Machine follows Alexander Hartdegen, a brilliant inventor in the 19th century driven by grief and curiosity. After a personal tragedy, he creates a machine capable of traveling through time, hoping to prevent his loss by altering past events. His initial intentions are deeply personal, rooted in a desire to change the course of history and save those he loves.

However, his journey takes an unexpected turn when he is flung 800,000 years into the distant future. There, he encounters a world dramatically transformed beyond his imagination. Humanity has evolved into two distinct races locked in a perpetual conflict. This future society is a stark contrast to his own time, filled with mystery, danger, and unfamiliar cultures.

Amidst this strange new world, Alexander meets Mara, a resourceful and compassionate member of one of the future races, portrayed by Samantha Mumba.
