About The Little Mermaid

In the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the classic animated film, "The Little Mermaid," Halle Bailey takes on the iconic role of Ariel, the youngest and most defiant daughter of King Triton. Ariel's curiosity and rebellious spirit lead her to yearn for a life beyond the sea, and she often finds herself daydreaming about the world above the water. During one of her visits to the surface, she catches a glimpse of the dashing Prince Eric, played by Jonah Hauer-King, and is instantly captivated by his charm and charisma.
As the forbidden love between Ariel and Prince Eric grows stronger, Ariel becomes increasingly determined to find a way to be with him on land. However, she quickly learns that mermaids are forbidden from interacting with humans, and breaking this rule could result in dire consequences. In her desperation to be with the one she loves, Ariel turns to the evil sea witch, Ursula, for help. Ursula makes a deal with Ariel, promising to give her the chance to experience life on land in exchange for her voice. But as with all deals made with villains, this one comes with a steep price, and Ariel's decision to make the trade places both her life and her father's crown in jeopardy.
Throughout the film, viewers will be enchanted by the stunning visuals and captivating performances of the talented cast. Bailey brings a fresh and modern take to the beloved character of Ariel, while Hauer-King's portrayal of Prince Eric is sure to melt hearts.
