About The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

In the thrilling sequel to 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey', we follow our beloved characters as they navigate through treacherous lands and face formidable foes. The esteemed Sir Ian McKellen reprises his role as the wise and powerful wizard, Gandalf, while the immensely talented Martin Freeman portrays the unassuming yet courageous Bilbo Baggins. Alongside them, a band of brave dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield, played by Richard Armitage, are determined to reclaim their homeland and treasure from the fearsome dragon, Smaug.

As the story unfolds, we find our heroes having narrowly escaped the perilous Misty Mountains, where they faced terrifying orcs, goblins, and even a colossal Goblin King. It is during this perilous journey that Bilbo stumbles upon the One Ring, an ancient artifact of unspeakable power. Unbeknownst to him, this discovery will forever change his fate and set him on a path filled with danger, adventure, and self-discovery.

With the Misty Mountains behind them, the company of dwarves, Bilbo, and Gandalf press on towards the Lonely Mountain, the former home of the dwarves and the current lair of Smaug. The stakes are high, and the challenges they face are greater than ever before. As they draw closer to their destination, the group encounters a myriad of obstacles, including ruthless orcs, treacherous forests, and a mysterious Necromancer who threatens the very existence of Middle-earth. Will our heroes be able to outwit their enemies, overcome their fears, and reclaim their stolen treasure from the mighty dragon Smaug? Only time will tell in this epic tale of courage, camaraderie, and the unyielding power of hope.
