"The Desperadoes" centers around Uncle Willie, a seemingly beloved mail coach driver who harbors a dark secret: he is secretly allied with the town’s corrupt banker. Together, they devise a cunning scheme to rob the bank after it has been emptied, plotting to exploit their inside information for personal gain. Their plan, however, is complicated when the man Willie has chosen to carry out the robbery fails to arrive on time, forcing him to recruit a group of local boys as makeshift bandits to pull off the job.
