Starship Invasions

"Starship Invasions" follows Captain Rameses and his Legion of the Winged Serpent as they attempt to conquer Earth to save their dying race. Standing in their way is the League of Races, an alien guard patrol based in the Bermuda Triangle dedicated to protecting Earth. When Rameses violates galactic treaties, he unleashes an invasion that triggers a wave of telepathic suicides among Earth's population. The League enlists UFO expert Professor Duncan to aid in thwarting this threat, culminating in a decisive battle between the alien factions to determine Earth's fate.

1. Despite being a low-budget sci-fi film from the 1970s, "Starship Invasions" featured special effects created by John Dykstra, who later went on to win an Academy Award for his work on "Star Wars." This connection brought a higher quality to the visual effects than typical for its era and budget.
