Meet the Cast of Sound! Euphonium the Movie

In "Sound! Euphonium the Movie – Our Promise: A Brand New Day," Kumiko is stepping into her role as a second-year student and senior member of the euphonium section, tasked with guiding a group of fresh underclassmen joining the concert band. As Kumiko navigates her new responsibilities, she must learn how to support and manage the diverse personalities and challenges that come with mentoring younger students, which proves to be both rewarding and difficult. Alongside her is third-year trumpeter Tomoe Kabe, who has also been chosen to lead the new members, making their partnership essential to the band's dynamic.

The campfire of the narrative ignites with the arrival of several unique and intriguing new band members. Among them is Kanade Hisaishi, a euphonist whose calm exterior belies hidden depths; Mirei Suzuki, a tuba player struggling to acclimate to her new surroundings; her sister Satsuki Suzuki, also a tuba player, who earnestly seeks to build a connection with Mirei; and Motomu Tsukinaga, a double bassist who finds it difficult to open up about himself. These characters bring a mix of personalities that challenge and enrich the ensemble's interactions.

As the band prepares for major events including the Sunrise Festival, chair placement auditions, and the upcoming competition, internal and external conflicts arise, testing their resolve and unity.
