The musical’s first act follows a young English girl living in New York, who begins to wonder whether—in fact—she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places. The songs, by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black, include “Tell Me on a Sunday,” “Come Back with the Same Look in Your Eyes,” “Unexpected Song,” and “Nothing Like You’ve Ever Known.” The second act is a dance concert, set to Lloyd Webber’s Variations.
