Zuleikha Robinson is an English actress, born on June 29, 1977, and raised in Thailand and Malaysia. She has a diverse heritage with a Burmese-Indian mother and an English father. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Robinson has built a versatile acting career. She is best known for her role as Ilana in the acclaimed ABC series Lost, joining the cast in its fifth season and becoming a series regular in the sixth. In 2006, she portrayed Moushumi Mazumdar in Mira Nair's critically praised film The Namesake. Other notable roles include a supporting part in HBO's Rome and the character Eva Marquez, an NYPD detective, in Fox's New Amsterdam. Throughout her career, Robinson has received recognition for her compelling performances, establishing herself as a respected figure in television and film.
