Meet the late, great Treat Williams - an American actor, author, and aviator who graced our screens for over five decades. With a career that spanned over 75 films and several TV series, Treat was a familiar face to many.
Throughout his career, Treat received an impressive array of accolades, including nominations for two Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy, two Satellite Awards, and an Independent Spirit Award. But Treat's talents didn't stop at the screen - he also had a successful stage career.
Sadly, Treat passed away on June 12, 2023, following a motorcycle accident on Vermont Route 30, near Dorset. He was riding his motorcycle when a 2008 Honda Element turned into his path, leaving him unable to avoid a collision. Treat was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at the age of 71.
Treat's legacy lives on through his extensive body of work, and he will always be remembered for his talent, passion, and dedication to his craft.
