About Sarah Rafferty
Sarah Rafferty's passion for acting began at a young age when her drama teacher encouraged her to skip field hockey practice and join the cast of "Richard III" instead. This experience solidified her love for the craft and led her to pursue a double major in English and Theatre at Hamilton College. Sarah furthered her education by studying theatre abroad in London and Oxford during her junior year, and later at Yale Drama School.
Her parents, both accomplished in their respective fields, supported her love for the arts and provided her with a strong foundation. Sarah's mother, the Chairwoman of the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, CT, and her father, an accomplished painter, instilled in her a deep appreciation for learning and creativity.
Sarah's natural talent and education have led to a successful career in television and film. She is best known for her role as Donna on the hit USA Network series "Suits," but has also appeared in numerous TV shows such as "Law and Order," "Six Feet Under," "Brothers & Sisters," "Samantha Who?," "Without A Trace," "CSI: Miami," and "Bones." She has also starred in feature films including "Four Single Fathers" and "Falling For Grace," as well as countless professional stage productions like "Gemini" and "As You Like It."
In addition to her acting roles, Sarah is an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association and consistently speaks on the matter. She has hosted their annual Sardi's event for three consecutive years and presented at the organization's final Sardi's event in March 2016. Sarah currently resides on both the east and west coasts with her husband and two daughters, traveling back and forth to Toronto for work. Her dedication to her craft and her advocacy for important causes make her a well-rounded and inspiring figure in the entertainment industry.
