Robert De Niro, born on August 17, 1943, is a highly acclaimed American actor, known for his remarkable collaborations with director Martin Scorsese. With a career spanning over five decades, De Niro is regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, earning numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.

De Niro honed his acting skills at HB Studio, Stella Adler Conservatory, and Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio. His breakthrough collaboration with Scorsese began in 1973 with the film Mean Streets.
