About Rob Riggle
Rob Riggle, born on April 21, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an accomplished comedian and actor as well as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The son of Sandra Sue (Hargis) and Robert Allen Riggle, he earned a B.A. in Theater and Film from the University of Kansas before joining the Marines, where he also completed a Master's degree in Public Administration at Webster University. Originally aiming to become a Marine Corps pilot, Riggle eventually left the military to pursue a career in comedy. He was a featured cast member on "Saturday Night Live" during the 2004-2005 season and joined "The Daily Show" as a correspondent in 2006. Riggle has made numerous television appearances, including roles on "Arrested Development," "Chappelle's Show," "30 Rock," and "The Office," and has appeared in films such as "The Lorax" (2012) and "21 Jump Street" (2012). When not filming or touring for stand-up comedy, he resides in Los Angeles.
