Patrick Stewart, a renowned English actor, has been gracing the stage, television, and film for nearly five decades. While his theatrical career has been illustrious, he is best recognized for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men series. Born in Mirfield, Yorkshire, England, he is the son of Gladys, a weaver and textile worker, and Alfred Stewart, a Regimental Sergeant Major in the British Army. Stewart has been married twice before; first to Sheila Falconer, with whom he has two children, Daniel and Sophie, and later to Wendy Neuss, a producer on Star Trek: The Next Generation. His current partner is Sunny Ozell, who is younger than his daughter. Despite this, Stewart has remained a prominent figure in the Royal Shakespeare Company, participating in over 60 productions.
