Nina Toussaint-White, born in 1985, is a talented English actress known for her diverse roles across television and theatre. Raised in Plumstead, southeast London, she honed her craft at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Clapham, completing a rigorous three-year BA acting course. She made her professional acting debut in 2007 with an appearance on the TV series Casualty, followed by a role in The Bill in 2008. In 2009, she gained recognition for her portrayal of nurse Syd Chambers on BBC One's EastEnders, serving as a significant love interest for the character Bradley Branning. That same year, she also appeared in the series Primeval and showcased her stage talents in productions like A Midsummer Night's Dream. After leaving EastEnders in late 2009, Nina guest-starred in the Doctor Who episode "Let's Kill Hitler" in 2011 and appeared as Mattie Grace in Holby City in 2012. She continued to expand her TV portfolio by starring alongside Lacey Turner in the supernatural drama Switch on ITV2. Nina's stage career flourished as well, notably with her role as Tree in The Etienne Sisters at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in 2015, earning a nomination for Best Performance in a Musical at the 2016 UK Theatre Awards.
