Meet Nikolaj William Coster-Waldau, a talented Danish actor and producer who stole our hearts as Jaime Lannister in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Born on July 27, 1970, Coster-Waldau graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen in 1993 and quickly made a name for himself in Denmark with his breakthrough role in the film Nightwatch (1994).
Coster-Waldau's career skyrocketed with his role in Game of Thrones, earning him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. But his talents don't stop there - he has also appeared in numerous films in his native Denmark and Scandinavia, including Headhunters (2011) and A Thousand Times Good Night (2013).
