Meet Natalie Dormer, a talented English actress who has won over audiences with her memorable roles in popular TV shows. Dormer gained fame for her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the Showtime series "The Tudors" and as Margaery Tyrell in the HBO hit "Game of Thrones."
Born in Reading, Berkshire, Dormer attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School before moving to Reading Blue Coat School, a boys' school that admits girls in the sixth form. She grew up with her stepfather, mother, sister Samantha, and brother Mark. Unfortunately, Dormer was the target of bullying during her school years.
Despite the challenges she faced, Dormer excelled academically and was even named head girl. She was a straight-A student, vice-captain of the school netball team, and traveled the world with her school's public speaking team. Dormer also trained in dance at the Allenova School of Dancing.
Dormer has described herself as the "academic hopeful" of the family and was offered a place to study history at Cambridge. However, she did not achieve the required A grade in her A-level History exam and decided to pursue her passion for acting instead. Dormer trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where she honed her skills and prepared for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
