Bacall became synonymous with film noir, starring in several Bogart collaborations including "The Big Sleep" (1946), "Dark Passage" (1947), and "Key Largo" (1948). She also showcased her versatility in comedies like "How to Marry a Millionaire" (1953) and "Designing Woman" (1957). Transitioning to Broadway, she won Tony Awards for her performances in "Applause" (1970) and "Woman of the Year" (1981). Bacall's later film work included the acclaimed role in "The Mirror Has Two Faces" (1996), which garnered her a Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination.
