About Jason Momoa
Meet Jason Namakaeha Momoa, an American actor and filmmaker born on August 1, 1979! His acting career took off when he landed the role of Jason Ioane in the syndicated action drama series Baywatch: Hawaii (1999-2001). He continued to make a name for himself as Ronon Dex on the Syfy science fiction series Stargate Atlantis (2005-2009).
Momoa's breakthrough role came when he played Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones (2011-2012). He left a lasting impression as Declan Harp on the Discovery Channel historical drama series Frontier (2016-2018), and as Baba Voss on the Apple TV+ science fiction series See (2019-present). In fact, Momoa was the lead for both latter series!
In 2016, Momoa joined the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) as Arthur Curry / Aquaman, headlining the 2018 film and its upcoming 2023 sequel. He also played Duncan Idaho in the 2021 film adaptation of the science fiction novel Dune.
