About Howie Mandel
Howard Michael "Howie" Mandel, born on November 29, 1955, is a Canadian entertainer renowned as a stand-up comedian, television host, and actor. He gained widespread recognition as the host of the NBC game show "Deal or No Deal" and its daytime and Canadian-English versions. Before his game show career, Mandel was notably known for his role on the NBC medical drama "St. Elsewhere." Additionally, he created and starred in the children's animated series "Bobby's World." On June 6, 2009, he hosted the Game Show Awards on GSN. Mandel also became a judge on NBC's "America's Got Talent" during its fifth season, taking over from David Hasselhoff. In film, he appeared as a supporting character in the 2000 movie "Tribulation" from Cloud Ten Pictures.
