Meet Gerard James Butler, a Scottish actor and film producer who first entered the spotlight in the late 1990s. After studying law, Butler decided to pursue a career in acting, appearing in small roles in films like "Mrs. Brown," "Tomorrow Never Dies," and "Tale of the Mummy."

In 2000, Butler took on the iconic role of Count Dracula in the gothic horror film "Dracula 2000," and in 2001, he played the legendary warrior Attila the Hun in the miniseries "Attila." Over the next few years, Butler appeared in a string of successful films, including "Reign of Fire," "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life," and the adaptation of Michael Crichton's "Timeline."
