About Emma Stone

Meet Emma Stone, the talented American actress who has won the world over with her impressive acting skills! She has quite the collection of awards, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, and was even the highest-paid actress back in 2017.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Emma's passion for acting started at a young age when she appeared in a theater production of The Wind in the Willows in 2000. She moved to Los Angeles with her mom as a teenager and landed her first TV gig in In Search of the New Partridge Family, a reality show that didn't quite make it. But that didn't stop Emma! She kept going and made her big screen debut in Superbad in 2007 and gained more attention in Zombieland in 2009.

Emma's breakout role was in the 2010 teen comedy Easy A, where she played a high school student with a knack for getting into trouble. Her performance earned her nominations for a BAFTA Rising Star Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actress.

You might also recognize Emma as Gwen Stacy from the Amazing Spider-Man movies or for her scene-stealing role in the black comedy Birdman, where she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She even made her Broadway debut in a revival of the musical Cabaret from 2014 to 2015.

But perhaps Emma's most iconic role to date is in the romantic musical La La Land, where she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. And most recently, she received her third Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Abigail Masham in the historical comedy-drama The Favourite. With such a diverse range of roles, it's no wonder Emma Stone is a household name!
