Meet Donald McNichol Sutherland, a Canadian actor who has been gracing our screens for over six decades! With a film career that spans over 60 years, Sutherland has been nominated for eight Golden Globe Awards and has won two for his performances in the television films 'Citizen X' and 'Path to War'. His work in 'Citizen X' also earned him a Primetime Emmy Award.
Sutherland's contributions to cinema have been recognized with a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Canadian Walk of Fame. He also received a Canadian Academy Award for the drama film 'Threshold'. Despite being considered one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination, Sutherland received an honorary Academy Award in 2017 for his contributions to cinema.
