About Dianne Doan

Meet Dianne Doan, a talented Canadian actress with Vietnamese roots, born on September 8, 1990, in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Her passion for acting sparked in the 9th grade, when she took drama classes as an elective. But her journey in the performing arts began even earlier, at the age of 10, when she started her technical training in dance.

Doan's dance skills have taken her to great heights, performing at the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony and even dancing alongside the legendary Michael Bublé. She's also graced music videos for Big Time Rush and Marianas Trench, showcasing her versatility as a dancer.

But acting is where Doan truly shines. She made her major acting debut in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants, playing Lonnie, the daughter of Mulan and Li Shang. She revisited this role in Descendants 2, proving her commitment to the character. Doan has also had recurring roles on Vikings and Guidance, further solidifying her presence in the industry.

In 2017, Doan joined the cast of the Cinemax series Warrior as Mai Ling, a series produced by Justin Lin and based on an original concept by the late Bruce Lee. This role allowed her to showcase her acting prowess in a new light.

Currently, Doan is working on the upcoming television series The Boys Presents: Varsity, a spin-off of the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys. She will be playing the role of Nyla, a powerful superhero, adding another exciting role to her already impressive resume.
