Meet Denis Villeneuve, a talented Canadian filmmaker who has made a significant impact in the world of cinema! He has been honored with the Canadian Screen Award (formerly Genie Award) for Best Direction an impressive four times, with wins for Maelström, Polytechnique, Incendies, and Enemy. The first three films also took home the Canadian Screen Award for Best Motion Picture, while Enemy was named the best Canadian film of the year by the Toronto Film Critics Association.
