Daniel Wroughton Craig, born on 2 March 1968, is a renowned British actor who shot to global fame for his portrayal of the iconic secret agent James Bond in the eponymous film series. His journey as Bond began with Casino Royale in 2006 and continued through four more installments, culminating in No Time to Die in 2021.
Craig's acting career began after his training at the National Youth Theatre in London and graduation from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991. He started on stage before making his film debut in the drama The Power of One in 1992 and the family film A Kid in King Arthur's Court in 1995. His breakthrough role came with the drama serial Our Friends in the North in 1996.
Craig's early film roles include the period film Elizabeth in 1998, the action film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001, and the crime thrillers Road to Perdition in 2002 and Layer Cake in 2004. He also appeared in the historical drama film Munich in 2005.

Craig's performance as Detective Benoit Blanc in the comedy mystery films Knives Out in 2019 and Glass Onion in 2022 earned him two Golden Globe Award nominations.
