Aarti Mann, born Aarti Majumdar in March 1978 in Connecticut, is an American actress known for her work in television. Of Indian Bengali Hindu descent, she grew up in Pennsylvania and pursued her education at Shady Side Academy and New York University where she studied film. Initially inspired by her filmmaker sister Kruti, Mann transitioned to acting and appeared in the 2006 film "The Memsahib." She gained recognition with roles in TV programs such as the sci-fi drama "Heroes" and the popular sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." Additionally, Mann was featured in the NBC series "quarterlife" and appeared in the season two premiere of "Suits" on USA Network. Despite an early setback after being cast and then released from the USA pilot "Paging Dr. Freed," she built a steady career in television. While she has not received major awards, her consistent performances and presence in notable series have earned her critical appreciation and a dedicated fan base.
