About Joker

In the gripping and thought-provoking film 'Joker', directed by Todd Phillips, we are introduced to the troubled and complex character of Arthur Fleck, played by the brilliant Joaquin Phoenix. Set in the grimy and chaotic backdrop of Gotham City during the 1980s, the movie follows the descent of Fleck into madness and crime as he transforms into the iconic and psychopathic figure known as the Joker.
Throughout the film, we see Fleck struggling to make a living as a stand-up comedian, but his lack of talent and crippling mental illness make it impossible for him to find success. He is constantly belittled and ignored by society, leading him to feel increasingly isolated and angry. As he grapples with his own identity and sanity, Fleck begins to embrace his darker impulses and turns to a life of crime as a way to cope with his pain.
One of the most compelling aspects of 'Joker' is the way it explores the fine line between madness and sanity, and how society's treatment of marginalized individuals can contribute to their downfall.
