In the gripping political thriller "In the Line of Fire," Clint Eastwood delivers a powerful performance as Secret Service Agent Frank Horrigan. Haunted by his past and grappling with his own demons, Horrigan is a seasoned agent who has dedicated his life to protecting the President of the United States. His world is turned upside down when a mysterious man, known only as "Booth," begins to threaten the life of the current President.
John Malkovich brings a chilling intensity to the role of Mitch Leary, aka "Booth." A former CIA operative turned assassin, Leary is a brilliant and ruthless adversary who will stop at nothing to carry out his deadly plan. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Leary is not just motivated by a desire for chaos and destruction, but also by a deep-seated grudge against the government he once served.
As Horrigan and Leary engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, the stakes could not be higher. With the President's life hanging in the balance, Horrigan must confront his own past and come to terms with his failure to protect President Kennedy. As he races against time to stop Leary, he is forced to confront the ghosts that have haunted him for decades and prove that he has what it takes to protect the President once and for all.
