The climax of 'Het Blok' arrives after the intense 77-day period, when each apartment is appraised as a whole, and their value is determined. The increase in an apartment's value, from the start value prior to the renovations to the end value after all the work, essentially becomes the couple's profit. The couple who contributes to the most significant rise in their apartment's value, reaps the ultimate reward, taking home an additional € 50,000. This added bonus of an auction to determine the final values makes 'Het Blok' an exhilarating series that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats.
