Hardball

Hardball tells the story of Conor O'Neill, a directionless young man who spends his days scalping tickets, gambling, and drinking away his troubles. Struggling to find purpose in life, Conor is presented with an opportunity that could change his path. When a friend offers him a loan, Conor must agree to coach a Little League baseball team from the Cabrini Green housing project in Chicago, a tough neighborhood filled with challenges.

As Conor steps into his new role, he faces the daunting task of guiding a group of talented but underprivileged kids who are dealing with their own struggles.
