Golden Slumber

Golden Slumber follows Masaharu Aoyagi, an easy-going man who, during a fishing trip with an old friend, is drugged and falsely accused of assassinating the Prime Minister. Forced to go on the run from corrupt police, Aoyagi's once ordinary day spirals into a wild and dangerous adventure. With the aid of an eclectic group of allies—a famous pop diva, a rockabilly deliveryman, a disabled old gangster, and an unusually cheerful serial killer—he navigates a complex conspiracy to clear his name and uncover the truth.
