Cast and Crew of Flight of the Navigator

Flight of the Navigator

"Flight of the Navigator" is a sci-fi adventure film about 12-year-old David, who is mysteriously transported through time after being knocked out in the forest. When he wakes up, eight years have passed, but he hasn't aged, baffling his family and himself. With the help of a NASA scientist who discovers a nearby UFO, David embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his disappearance and reclaim the years lost.

Trivia:
1. The film was one of the first to use extensive computer-generated imagery (CGI), featuring a spaceship designed entirely with early CGI technology, which was groundbreaking for 1986.
2. The voice of the spaceship, Max, was performed by Paul Reubens, famously known as Pee-wee Herman, adding a unique and quirky personality to the alien craft.
3. The movie marked the feature film debut of Sarah Jessica Parker, who later rose to prominence in "Sex and the City."
