Der kleingewachsene Bauua Singh ist frech, charmant, humorvoll und kommt aus gutem Hause. Er ist Luxus und Reichtum gewohnt und vertreibt sich seine Zeit mit Streichen in der Nachbarschaft, sehnt sich mit 38 Jahren aber schon lange nach einer Partnerin. Um der Suche ein Ende zu bereiten, engagiert der Junggeselle einen Heiratsmakler, der ihm ein Bild von der Raumfahrt-Wissenschaftlerin Aafiya Bhinder zeigt. Bauua ist vollkommen hingerissen von der schönen Frau und möchte sie treffen. Als er sie jedoch in natura sieht, verliert er das Interesse an ihr. Die Wissenschaftlerin leidet nämlich an einer cerebraler Bewegungsstörung und sitzt daher im Rollstuhl. Doch erst als sie Bauua abweist, weil er ihrer Meinung nach „nicht genug Mann“ ist, weckt sie seinen Ehrgeiz und der Charmeur möchte Aafiyas Herz erobern. Dabei erweitert sich sein Horizont immens.
