Zwei Strauchdiebe schänden auf der Flucht vor dem Gesetz einen Indianerfriedhof. Einer wird von dem dazugehörigen Stamm sofort zur Strecke gebracht, der andere kann sich noch in ein benachbartes Dorf retten, wo die Indianer den Verletzten jedoch verschleppen, samt einer Ärztin und dem Deputy.
