Code 46

Set in a dystopian future, 'Code 46' follows William Gold, an insurance fraud investigator who travels to Shanghai to uncover a forged passport operation involving 'papelles,' advanced identification documents linked to genetics. During his mission, he becomes entangled with Maria Gonzales, the woman leading the forgery ring, sparking a passionate and complicated affair. When a client of Maria's is found dead, Gold must return to Shanghai to unravel the deeper conspiracy.
