Nestled in the picturesque Lake Tahoe of 1969, the once-grand El Royale motel serves as the intriguing backdrop for a tale of seven strangers, all harboring their own deeply buried secrets. This neo-noir thriller, aptly titled "Bad Times at the El Royale," boasts a star-studded cast, each member bringing their unique flair to the silver screen.
Among the ensemble, Jeff Bridges embodies the role of Father Daniel Flynn, a man with a checkered past who now dons the robes of a priest. Unbeknownst to his fellow travelers, however, Flynn has a hidden alter ego, the outlaw Dock O'Kelly, adding yet another layer of mystery to his character. Alongside Bridges, Cynthia Erivo delivers a mesmerizing performance as Darlene Sweet, a struggling singer whose powerful voice belies her quiet demeanor.
