Asylum

"Asylum" centers around Madison McBride, a teenager struggling to come to terms with a tragic past. After witnessing the death of her mentally unstable father at the tender age of nine, Madison's world was irrevocably changed. Adding to her trauma, she recently lost her beloved brother Brandon to suicide, a loss that continues to haunt her daily life and weigh heavily on her heart.

In an effort to confront her inner turmoil and find closure, Madison chooses to enroll at Richard Miller University, the very institution where her brother took his own life. The university, with its imposing Gothic architecture and shadowy corners, offers an eerie backdrop for Madison's journey of healing. Determined to face her fears head-on, she hopes that immersing herself in a new environment might help her break free from the chains of her past.

Upon arriving at campus and making her way to her dorm, Madison encounters Wilbur Mackey, the university's peculiar janitor. Wilbur warns her that the university grounds are whispered to be haunted, adding an unsettling layer to her already fragile state. As Madison delves deeper into the mysteries of Richard Miller University, she soon discovers that some demons aren't just psychological—they might be supernatural.
